Indications for Use:
- Wounds with low exudate such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infected diabetic foot ulcers, donor sites, and superficial wounds after surgery or injury.
- Suitable for compression therapy: can be used under compression dressings to support healing.
Duration of Use:
- Effective for up to 7 days, depending on the amount of exudate or specialist’s guidance.
Warnings and Precautions:
- Do not use with strong oxidizing disinfectants like hydrogen peroxide or sodium hypochlorite, as they may reduce the dressing’s effectiveness or cause foam material degradation.
- Avoid use in cases of allergy to polyurethane or silicone.
- Not to be used on completely dry wounds or wounds covered with dry necrosis, as the dressing is designed for wounds with exudate.
- Medical monitoring is required to ensure the dressing’s effectiveness and to prevent infection progression.
- For single use only; reuse may cause infection or loss of medical properties.
- Not recommended as a primary dressing for very deep or heavily bleeding wounds; specialized products are preferred in such cases.
